Turning a beach club into a back door into the art world.

Amex wanted to give their Platinum cardholders access to the world’s most exclusive club: the art world. So we created the ultimate collectors experience at Art Basel. A gallery right on the beach where everything was easily collectible via a custom AR app.

Not only the fine art on display, but the Kehinde Wiley and Julie Mehretu designed cards, the furniture, the glassware at the bar, even the props on stage at the private Lizzo concert and limited edition prints of the digital visuals. Lizzo was even inspired to create a painting to add to the collection.
